Industry Offices Expansion

Project’s Description

The project concerns the expansion of the administration offices on the first floor of the existing company building in Nemea, Corinth. Spaces for company executives and boardroom presentations are designed. It was decided to hide the complex roof of the existing reinforced concrete shell for energy saving purposes. The plan adapted to the geometry of the inverted pyramid shell to avoid functional failure in heights. The symbolism of the imposing doric system is attributed through the prismatic surface in the waiting area. The connection to the existing offices is implemented through the metal staircase within the building, while outside, through the extension, in order to save space but also to allow the visitor to interact with the magnitude of the plant during their ascent.
