Project’s Description
The residence serves a family of five. The plot is located within the city of Corinth. The mezzanine required the use of the entire width of the plot due to the building program and the limited surface of the land. Lighting and ventilation recesses were created which are not visible from the compact façade but are accessible green spaces on the ground level. Emphasis was given to the energy saving of the building using shading for the south, sola-tubes for the basement, hot water panels, a heat pump, large external insulation thickness and the optimisation of the curtain wall frames.
