Residence in Lechaio, Corinth

Project’s Description

The building diagram was adapted to the needs of a four member family who would use the building during the summer at first and permanently in the future. Therefore privacy in the open living spaces of the building was ensured through the siting of the building. The distance from the access road was due to the geometric cord of the land and was a linear element for access to the house and car parking. On the first floor, a double height space serves the natural cooling of the user in conjunction with controlled shading. We also formed a mixed static system with framework operating walls, since there was an absence of soil analysis technical studies, ensuring sufficient rigidity in the case of differential subsidence which was calculated as an extra load. The supervision of the project, the technical guidance and the partial implementation study set the desired level in order to obtain premium construction results.
